Maskargo Welcomes Turkish Airlines Cargo Freighter

Turkish Airlines recently extended their cargo ground handling contract with MABkargo with an additional bonus of being awarded Ramp Handling for Aerodarat as well. This relationship restarted since 2013 when Turkish Airlines recommence their services into KLIA after a ten year hiatus and has since grown to daily passenger flights and with a twice weekly B777 Freighter flight starting 31st October 2019.

To commemorate the inaugural scheduled freighter flight, Turkish Airlines management and guests were feted to a light refreshment at our Animal Hotel facility. CEO of MABkargo, Ibrahim Mohamed Salleh also presented a momento to the Turkish Airlines Regional Management and crew of the freighter flight.

TK’s Boeing 777 freighter touched down at 2200hrs and was welcomed with a grand water salute in the presence of MASkargo and Turkish Airlines Cargo management, Malaysia Airports Holding Berhad dignitaries and friends from the media. The twice-weekly freighter flight takes off from Istanbul Ataturk Airport to Kuala Lumpur on Thursdays and Saturdays.
