MASkargo Launches Inaugural JHB-KCH P2C Flight

It was a beautiful morning as the MASkargo Team in Johor Bahru prepares for the inaugural Johor Bahru to Kuching Passenger-to-Cargo (P2C) flight today. Utilizing Malaysia Airlines’ A330-200 series aircraft, flight MH7998 departed JHB at 0930hrs with approximately 18tonnes of various types of commodities which includes seafood, perishables and general cargo. The flight landed safely and on time at the Kuching International Airport at 1105hrs.

“The Customer is always our center of gravity and their needs are constantly evolving. As such, we must tailor our services to best match their needs and expectations, hence the introduction of this weekly Wednesday service to Kuching. The mounting of this flight, complemented with our fast, efficient and reliable service, will support the trade activities between Johor, Singapore and East Malaysia. With a payload capability of about 35tonnes per flight, we do have the space to assist businesses and supporting the trade between Johore, Singapore and Sabah & Sarawak.
