MASkargo And Tasco Sign Memorandum Of Understanding

MAB KARGO SDN. BHD. (MASkargo) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with its longtime business partner TASCO Berhad. The document was signed to achieve the shared objective of an enhanced and seamless logistics delivery services for customers involved in the production of COVID-19 vaccines. 

MASkargo was represented by Chief Executive Officer Ibrahim Mohamed Salleh and Mark Jason Thomas, Chief Commercial Officer; while Andy Lee, Group Chief Executive Officer and Tan Kim Yong, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer signed for TASCO.  

“The close relationship between MASkargo and TASCO has been going on for more than twenty years. Today’s signing is a testament and continuation of a great working relationship that has already been established. Between the two companies, we will ensure the smooth delivery of COVID-19 vaccines in support of the nation’s vaccination program”, said Ibrahim on the event. 

Andy Lee added, “As an experienced total logistics provider and one of the largest cold-chain logistics operators in Malaysia, we are well aware of the stringent requirements in the supply chain process of COVID-19 vaccines. This MOU will enable us to synergize our resources with MASkargo, and we will work closely with MASkargo to customize a strict SOP for an end-to-end solution in the logistics fulfilment process of COVID-19 vaccines. We look forward to playing our part with MASkargo in contributing to the nation’s vaccination program as a responsible corporate citizen.”  

The simple but momentous ceremony was held at the Advanced Cargo Centre, MASkargo’s headquarters in KLIA with all COVID-19 Preventive SOPs observed.
